This is my version of a phoenix. I used vivid colors to show its beauty.
totem mask
I have been thinking about doing a totem pole. As I was looking for ideas for it, I thought the mask would be challenging to do as a single piece. The first image is an "in progress" picture, note the thread pallet bin at the top of the pic. The second image is the completed work.
polar bear flag
I call this piece "SAVE US". I always liked polar bears and since there has been so much in the news lately about their environment being destroyed, I wanted to do a polar bear piece. My wife said "How about a flag background?" I really liked that idea. I did the flag with 5/8" nails and the polar bear with 3/4" nails.Feather vine
I had an extra piece of wood and didn't want to waste it. I also had some copper wire and I like doing feathers, so I mixed it all up and the next thing I know this feather vine grew.
